⭐英文閱讀 ╳ 永續發展 ╳ 參考教案
mangoSTEEMS Taiwan 特別為忙碌的老師們設計了一系列結合「Raz-Plus 繪本與聯合國 17 項永續發展目標 (SDGs) 」的參考教案!除了希望能提高學生對聯合國 17 項永續發展目標的認識外,同時也能透過相對應的繪本故事、和特別設計的大富翁桌遊「永續世界大冒險」,促進學生的英語讀寫能力及批判性思考。

1. 從不同角度理解性別不平等,確保每個人的聲音都能被聽見,並讓所有人都有機會充分參與各個領域。
2. 幫助學生透過培養批判性思維、溝通能力、組織與解決問題的能力,以及自身對性別平等的追求來拓展機會和權利。

一起思考有哪些工作或職責通常被認為是「男性」或「女性」應該從事的?為什麼社會會有這樣的看法?這樣的刻板印象是如何產生的?透過討論,引導學生反思性別角色的形成與影響,並思考如何建立一個更平等和多元的社會觀念。
Society: (Sally’s Secret Ambition)
Think together what kinds of jobs or duties people usually think they are meant to be done by men/women. Why and how did this happen?
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將認識性別角色對男孩與女孩身份認同與權利的影響,進而學習相關知識,並開始批判性地思考社會歸屬中的性別角色,以及傳統對於工作、運動與家庭的觀念。
Students become familiar with the impact of gender roles on the identities and rights of girls and boys, thereby gaining knowledge and beginning to think critically about gender roles of social belonging and traditional notions of work, sport and family.

1. 學生將了解如何應用新技術和技能,結合傳統文化與知識,並重新分配資源。
2. 解決各國在工業和基礎設施領域的特定需求,以及提升技術的關鍵。
1. Students will understand how to apply new technologies and skills, combine traditional culture and knowledge, and reallocate the resources.
2. Addressing the specific needs of each country in the areas of industry and infrastructure, as well as the key to improving its technology.

在學習現代世界七大奇景之後,和學生討論是哪些關鍵因素讓它們被列為現代世界的七大奇景?進一步思考,台灣是否也有任何地點或建築,有潛力成為現代世界的奇景之一?
Society: (Seven Wonders of the Modern World)
After learning about seven wonders of the modern world, discuss what are the critical factors that make them the seven wonders of the modern world? Further think about is there any place or monument in Taiwan that might also be a wonder of the modern world.
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將接觸永續性、產業與經濟發展等概念,並培養分析不同基礎建設與產業形式優缺點的能力,重點放在其永續發展的層面。
Students are introduced to the concepts of sustainability, industry, and economic development. They develop the ability to analyse the pros and cons of different forms of infrastructure and industries, with a primary focus on their sustainability.

1. 教導學生可持續發展的概念,從而創建宜居的城市和社區。
2. 提供適當的工具以確保廢物管理和空氣質量的監測。
1. Teach students the concept of sustainability, hence create livable cities and communities.

⭐參考教案設計 Example Lesson Plans
結合綜合活動(搭配書籍:Community Workers)
設計一組包含社區中各種職業(例如:警察、醫生、老師、消防員、郵差、清潔人員等)的角色卡,並將這些角色卡分發給學生。每位學生閱讀自己的角色卡後,思考並分享這位社區工作者的職責與日常工作內容,例如他們為社區提供哪些服務、遇到什麼挑戰,以及這份工作的意義。透過這個活動,學生能更深入了解不同職業在社區中扮演的重要角色,並學習尊重與感謝這些工作者的付出。

Integrative Activities: (Community Workers)
Design characters cards about different jobs in the community, assign them to the students and ask them to share what kind of job does he/she has to do.
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將熟悉城市的本質與構成要素,並了解人類的基本需求,包括食物、居住、能源、交通與用水等。他們也將認識城市多元文化的特性,並同時意識到維護自然環境的重要性。
Students become familiar with the nature and components of cities, as well as basic human needs, including food, housing, energy, transportation, and water. They understand the multicultural character of the town and at the same time realize the importance of maintaining its natural environment.
