Raz-Plus ╳ SDGs 永續世界大冒險系列教案,第六篇來囉!已經過半了呢~
⭐英文閱讀 ╳ 永續發展 ╳ 參考教案
mangoSTEEMS Taiwan 特別為忙碌的老師們設計了一系列結合「Raz-Plus 繪本與聯合國 17 項永續發展目標 (SDGs) 」的參考教案!除了希望能提高學生對聯合國 17 項永續發展目標的認識外,同時也能透過相對應的繪本故事、和特別設計的大富翁桌遊「永續世界大冒險」,促進學生的英語讀寫能力及批判性思考。

每篇系列參考教案皆包含 1~2 項 SDGs 目標,聯合國的 17 項永續發展目標皆含在內。

⭐課程目標 Lesson Goals
1. 提高對現有不平等現象的認識,確保法律和社會計劃保護弱勢群體。
2. 增強並促進社會、經濟及政治的包容性,無論年齡、性別、殘障、種族、民族、出身、宗教或經濟或其他身份。
3. 鼓勵學生認識到所有人天生平等的價值。促使學生反思現有的社會權力結構,例如社區的運用。
1. To raise awareness of existing inequalities, ensure that laws and social programmes protect vulnerable groups.
2. To enhance and promote social, economic and political inclusion, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status.
3. To encourages students to recognize the value that all people are created equal. To prompt students to reflect on existing social power structures, such as the use of community.

⭐參考教案設計 Example Lesson Plans
結合英語課程(搭配書籍:Thurgood Marshall)
在學生了解瑟古德·馬歇爾 (Thurgood Marshall) 的故事後,向他們介紹他著名的演講 “The Equality Speech”,接著引導學生理解演講中使用的詞語與片語的含義,並進一步討論演講中提到的議題。
English: (Thurgood Marshall)
After learning about the story of Thurgood Marshall, introduce his famous speech: “The Equality Speech” to students, then determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a speech. Further discuss the issues that are mentioned in the speech.
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將了解教育與不平等之間的關係,理解其作為影響人生不平等的重要因素。他們將學習表達自己對特定不平等現象的看法,並發展出扭轉這些狀況的解決方案,同時尊重多元性與他人的選擇。
Students become familiar with the relationship between education and inequality, both as a factor affecting life inequality. They learn to express their views on specific inequalities and develop solutions to reverse them, while respecting diversity and the choices of others.

1. 促進學生對人權概念的理解與認同,從而減少暴力行為,消除對人類的剝削,並發展維護人權的法治制度。
2. 學生將理解法律體系及維護法律的機構之重要性,進一步建立一個公平正義的司法制度與社會。
1. To promote students’ understanding and recognition of human rights concepts, thereby reducing violence, eliminating human exploitation, and developing the rule of law that upholds human rights.
2. Students will understand the importance of the legal framework and the institutions that uphold the law, further create a justice system and society for people.

在學生認識馬丁·路德·金恩 (Martin Luther King, Jr.) 的故事後,向他們介紹他著名的演講 “I Have a Dream”,接著引導學生理解演講中使用的詞語與片語的意義。
結合綜合活動(搭配書籍:Vote for the Slide)
在向學生展示如何試著說服同學針對一項對學校或社區具有重要性的議題進行投票後,展開一場相關主題的辯論。

After learning about the story of Martin Luther King, Jr., introduce his famous speech: “I Have a Dream” to students, then determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a speech.
Integrative Activities: (Vote for the Slide)
After showing students how they can try to convince fellow students to vote on an issue important to their school or community, start a debate on related topics.
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將接觸多元的宗教與族群身份,並學習相互尊重與理解的重要性。他們學會衡量來自不同來源的智慧價值,表達自己的見解,並予以尊重。
Students are exposed to a wide variety of religious and ethnic identities and learn about the need for mutual respect and understanding. They learn to weigh the value of wisdom from different sources, express insights, and respect it.
