⭐英文閱讀 ╳ 永續發展 ╳ 參考教案
mangoSTEEMS Taiwan 特別為忙碌的老師們設計了一系列結合「Raz-Plus 繪本與聯合國 17 項永續發展目標 (SDGs) 」的參考教案!除了希望能提高學生對聯合國 17 項永續發展目標的認識外,同時也能透過相對應的繪本故事、和特別設計的大富翁桌遊「永續世界大冒險」,促進學生的英語讀寫能力及批判性思考。

每篇系列參考教案皆包含 1~2 項 SDGs 目標,聯合國的 17 項永續發展目標皆含在內。

⭐課程目標 Lesson Goals
1. 學生將能夠理解有助於平等的權利,了解經濟和自然資源的狀況,包括土地和財產的所有權、使用權以及繼承權,並學習金融相關的知識以運用在消除貧窮上。
1. Students will be able to understand the rights that contribute to equality, understand the status of the economy and natural resources, including ownership, control and inheritance of land and property, and learn about new technologies and financial services that are profitable and contribute to the goal of No Poverty.

⭐參考教案設計 Example Lesson Plans
結合數學課程(搭配書籍:Smart Savings)
請學生每天記錄自己的支出,計算每週和每月的花費。思考如何調整金錢的使用方式,以達到儲蓄的目標。
結合藝術課程 (搭配書籍:What Can You Do to Earn Money?)
閱讀故事後,學生可以使用鞋盒製作自己的收銀機,並設計自己的貨幣。
Math: (Smart Savings)
Ask students to track their expenses everyday, calculate their weekly and monthly expenses. Figure out how to adjust their use of money in order to save money.
Science: (Rainy-Day Savings)
Students can make and decorate their own rain gauges and then collect and measure rainfall.
Art: (What Can You Do to Earn Money?)
After reading the story, students can make their own cashier with shoe box, also design their own money.
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將了解貧窮的含義,並建立消除貧困的信心。
Students will understand what poverty is, generate the confidence to eliminate poverty, and establish this concept.
⭐備註 Note
雖然這些課程旨在培養學生對處境的同理心,但對於真正處於這種情況的學生來說,某些課題可能會較難面對。
因此,教師應該分析自己的班級和學生情況,並根據學生的需求與處境做出適當的調整。
Although these lessons are intended to create empathy amongst students for every student’s situation, some lessons might be hard to face for students who are really in this situation. Hence teachers should analyze their classroom and students and make the right call regarding their students and their situations.

1. 學生可以了解如何透過增加農業生產來減少食物浪費並消除飢餓。
2. 尊重各個地區的環境資源和生物多樣性。
1. Students can understand how to reduce food waste and eliminate hunger by increasing agricultural production.
2. Respect the environmental resources and biodiversity of each region.

⭐參考教案設計 Example Lesson Plans
結合自然課程(搭配書籍:From Tree to Treat)
種子發芽實驗讓學生能近距離觀察種子的生長過程,並探究種子發芽所需的條件。
結合綜合活動(搭配書籍:Let’s Share Lunch)
請學生帶食物到學校(餅乾、巧克力、糖果等),認識營養標示,並向學生介紹各種營養成分。
Science: (From Tree to Treat)
Seed germination experiment allows students to see up close to how a seed grows, and investigate what conditions a seed needs to germinate.
Integrative Activities: (Let’s Share Lunch)
Ask students to bring food to school (cookies, chocolate, candy…), take a look at the nutrition labels and introduce each nutrition to students.
⭐預期學習效果
培養學生健康的飲食習慣,並具備閱讀和解釋營養標示的能力。此外,也預期學生將了解永續資源的概念。
Students gain basic knowledge about mental and emotional health, as well as sexual health and rights. They develop the relevant ability to express feelings in healthy ways, manage emotional and physical stress, and seek help when necessary. Thus promoting tolerance, respect and understanding of the differences and emotions of others.
