⭐英文閱讀 ╳ 永續發展 ╳ 參考教案
mangoSTEEMS Taiwan 特別為忙碌的老師們設計了一系列結合「Raz-Plus 繪本與聯合國 17 項永續發展目標 (SDGs) 」的參考教案!除了希望能提高學生對聯合國 17 項永續發展目標的認識外,同時也能透過相對應的繪本故事、和特別設計的大富翁桌遊「永續世界大冒險」,促進學生的英語讀寫能力及批判性思考。

1. 讓學生了解如何提升能源效率,開發減少能源浪費的技術,並鼓勵學生共同研究和發展可再生能源及其他清潔能源。
1.Gives students an understanding of how to promote energy efficiency, develop technologies that waste less energy, and encourage students to work together to research and develop renewable and other clean energy sources.

⭐參考教案設計 Example Lesson Plans
結合自然課程(搭配書籍:Solar Power)
在學習太陽能及其運作方式後,利用紙箱和鋁箔紙設計一個太陽能烤箱,並使用太陽能烤箱來烘烤餅乾或融化棉花糖。
結合數學課程(搭配書籍:How Do Fuel Costs Compare)
請學生每天到加油站記錄油價(為期一週),繪製圖表呈現數據,並計算星期天的油價是否比星期一高或低。
Science: (Solar Power)
After learning about solar power and how it works, design a solar oven with boxes and aluminum foil, then use the solar oven to bake cookies and melt the marshmallow.
Math: (How Do Fuel Costs Compare)
Ask student to stop by gas station everyday (for a week), write down each day’s fuel cost, draw a chart that shows the data, find out whether the fuel cost on Sunday is lower or higher than Monday (calculate the numbers).
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將暸解不同形式的能源生產(例如:化石燃料、風能、太陽能)及其相關技術,並了解不同形式的能源生產在不同的地理環境和情境下具有最佳應用方式。
Students become familiar with different forms of energy production (e.g., fossil fuels, wind, solar) and their associated technologies, and that different forms of energy production are best used in different geographies and contexts.

1. 幫提升學生的科學素養,例如培養對科學數據的理解以說服學生支持緩解劇烈氣候變遷的行動,同時讓學生關注並參與跨國合作,以應對氣候變遷問題。
1. To improve students’ scientific literacy, such as developing an understanding and respect for scientific data, in order to persuade students to support actions to mitigate drastic climate change.
2. In addition, the skills related to this goal also enable students to focus on and engage in transnational cooperation to address climate change.

結合綜合活動(搭配書籍:What Do You Think About Climate Change?)
向學生介紹氣候變遷的概念,以及當前政府對此採取的措施,然後就相關議題展開小組辯論(辯論議題將圍繞在氣候變遷上)
Intergrative Activities: (What Do You Think About Climate Change?)
Introduce climate change to the students and what did the current government do about it, then start a debate on related topics.
⭐預期學習效果 Expected Result
學生將對碳循環、溫室氣體及其物理影響(如海平面上升和極端氣候)有基本的理解。他們將意識到氣候脆弱性,並能夠分析人類活動及個人行為對氣候變遷的影響。
Students will have a basic understanding of the carbon cycle, greenhouse gases and their physical effects, such as sea level rise and climate extremes. They will be aware of climate vulnerability and are able to analyse the impact of human activities and individual actions on climate change.
